July 2017 – Andrea Lloyd

It is with great sadness to inform that Andrea Lloyd passed away on 18th July 2017.  Andrea began with us as an admin volunteer in July 2014.  After a year she came on our Management Committee and became a Trustee.  She brought her knowledge of HR and publicity to the Committee by helping to update policies, handbooks, contracts and volunteer induction information as well as other general documentation.  She also redesigned our leaflets and publicity material and added and regularly refreshed information on our website.  Andrea has been a great asset to Stockport Car Scheme and also recently stood in as temporary Chair when our Chairperson took a short break.  When Sue came into post as Manager, she found the support she received from Andrea invaluable in helping her to settle into her role.  Andrea gave a huge amount of time and commitment to Stockport Car Scheme

Andrea asked for all donations from the funeral to be given to Stockport Car Scheme and we received £750 for which we are very grateful.

Our thoughts go to her family and friends.
